Recycling Goes Digital

Net has partnered with Junker, the app that helps residents manage recycling in a simple, proper, and sustainable way. Junker is a digital service integrated to support the municipalities served by Net, designed to provide up-to-date and personalized information on waste disposal procedures. Net manages the environmental sanitation service in the City of Udine and 56 other municipalities in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, working every day with residents and families to continuously improve recycling efforts.

PRACTICAL HELP FOR BETTER RECYCLING

Junker is a free app available for smartphones that provides clear instructions on how to properly sort waste according to your municipality’s rules. Once the user selects their municipality of residence, they gain access to a reliable, up-to-date, and easy-to-use digital guide that helps answer the most common questions about waste disposal.

WHERE DO I THROW IT AWAY? SCAN THE BAR CODE

One of Junker’s main features is product recognition via barcodes. Simply scan the code with your smartphone to immediately find out which bin to place each part of the packaging in, according to the guidelines for your area. A practical tool that reduces errors and improves the quality of recycling.

AUTOMATIC REMINDERS FOR COLLECTION DAYS

Junker also helps you remember when to put out your trash. When you turn on notifications, the app sends a reminder the evening before trash pickup, directly to your phone. This service is designed to simplify daily management and encourage proper, consistent behavior over time.

AVAILABLE ON SMARTPHONES AND COMPUTERS

In addition to the smartphone app, Junker is also available as a web version. From here, you can view and print the recycling schedules in weekly, monthly, or semiannual formats, so you always have a clear and accessible reference.
